  1. Manickam Valliappan • Please elaborate your requirements so that our members will know the application of LiBr and effects of different environmental conditions/chemistry of LiBr on various materials. Our group is a mixed bag of professionals from different domains. Are you looking for only LiBr (55%) or combination of LiBr-Ethylene Glycol-Water or other mixtures.

I have come across the following research papers:

    1. Corrosion behavior of iron-based alloys in the LiBr + ethylene glycol + H2O mixture, Corrosion Science, Volume 51, Issue 5, May 2009, Pages 1107-1114, E. Samiento-Bustos, J.G. González-Rodriguez, J. Uruchurtu, V.M. Salinas-Bravo.

    2. Effect of PWVA/Sb2O3 complex inhibitor on the corrosion behavior of carbon steel in 55%LiBr solution, Materials Chemistry and Physics, Volume 110, Issues 2-3, 15 August 2008, Pages 285-290, Xianqi Hu, Chenghao Liang.

    3. Inhibition Performance of Enhanced-Mo Inhibitor for Carbon Steel in 55% LiBr Solution, Journal of Iron and Steel Research, International, Volume 15, Issue 1, January 2008, Pages 49-54, Cheng-hao LIANG, Xian-qi HU.

    4. Anticorrosion Performance of Carbon Steel in 55% LiBr Solution Containing PMA/SbBr3 Inhibitor, Journal of Iron and Steel Research, International, Volume 13, Issue 4, July 2006, Pages 56-60, Xian-qi HU, Cheng-hao LIANG, Nai-bao HUANG.
