WalesOnline - News - Wales News - Public funds have paid for £18m Severn Bridge repairs

PLAID CYMRU AMs today hit out at a long-standing government deal that has seen public funds paying for nearly £18m of repairs to the old Severn Bridge. The Department of Transport has revealed in a letter to Plaid Cymru that the public has paid for treating corrosion of the main cable and repairs to the cantilever edges of the original crossing.
