Cooperation with worldwide scientific and technical societies - A MISSING link for research institutions and professional associations in India

It is quite disturbing to see the present position of our Indian research institutions and professional associations in the global arena for corrosion control and associated science discipline.

Please go through the following links to see our present position.

The World Corrosion Organization - Member Organizations

Cooperating Societies - International Society of Electrochemistry

Where do our institutions miss to establish such collaboration essential for technology developments? Our role is to explore a suitable "Iron Pillar Way" to get a proper berth for INDIA's representation.

  1. The only way to get into these international organizations is to have a single body representing all organizations doing work in or are affected by corrosion. Who will take the initiative for this? Since our government is by far the largest sufferer by corrosion, it has to take interest in this matter.
